Sip #5 – Come back tomorrow as we move to Ecclesiastes, Chapter 5
Well, friends… I have had a VERY full last couple of days. I am going to do Chapter 4 of Ecclesiastes a little differently. Look closely at verse 9-10…
“Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.”
I am asking you to live out these verses by sharing with me and the audience YOUR big takeaway from this chapter today.
Lift me up, as I am needing time to finalize my message for tomorrow morning (as I preach at Normandale), AND I genuinely need a substitute for the big thought of the day today.

I just heard one of the best sermons I’ve ever heard. Holistically, it was scriptural, a confession, prayer for blessing, fellowship, and the hope of re-confidence. We’ve all heard bunches of different lengths, sometimes sketchy meanings, and so on, but this ranked as one of the best and one that many can relate to in their own lives – and that’s the name of the game, ain’t it?
💯, Ralph!
V.12b …A chord of three strands is not quickly broken.
To me that means us, a fellow believer, covered by God. Without God we are easily broken.
Thant’s an interesting take, Joan! 👍
