Happy Monday, everybody! For some of us it’s an extra day off due to the President’s Day holiday, so enjoy that gift if you get it. Every February 17th recognizes a delightful garden staple that provides some of the best recipes for the Celtic holidays coming up next month. It’s an excellent day to test your corned beef and cabbage skills alongside other delicious seasonal dishes, beings today is National Cabbage Day. Why it’s not closer to St. Patrick’s Day I do not know, but nonetheless brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choy, kohlrabi or kale should be on the menu tonight!

We have now moved on to Ecclesiastes for the second round. It’s chapter 1 today… Look closely at verse 11…

“No one remembers the former generations,
and even those yet to come
will not be remembered
by those who follow them..”
