Happy Monday! AND, here we are… just three days away from kicking off the FINAL round of the first half of the 2025 edition of KafePK! I hope you have been growing and enjoying the journey so far. Hey, let’s start our final few days in Round 5 by reading Titus, Chapter 1… look closer at verses 7-9…
“For an overseer, as God’s administrator, must be blameless, not arrogant, not hot-tempered, not addicted to wine, not a bully, not greedy for money, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, righteous, holy, self-controlled, holding to the faithful message as taught, so that he will be able both to encourage with sound teaching and to refute those who contradict.”

When I was sitting on meetings of a potential church one time, and thought I might be called on to be an Elder someday – I really questioned my ability to live up to Paul’s standards more than once! It’s a tough bar. I do think that your interpretation Keith of God’s grace really looking at where someone is not where they were is the most important test for leadership

I wrote a sociology article that started with this catchphrase “No Cubes…” (cubicles) about employers who defined their employees lowly. I also told me students Not to define themselves by where they work or by what they do at work. It’s all too easy to place yourself or to be placed in into boxes from which it can be difficult to break away. Color outside the “cube”!
