Greetings from Peoria, IL!!! Yes, you probably noticed (hopefully!) that I missed yesterday. By the time we pulled out of Fargo, fueled up, ate a late lunch, and pulled into our hotel in Rochester, MN… It was 9p. I opened up my laptop, signed in… and, could barely keep my eyes open. Just being real. So, I waved the white flag.

Over the next several days, even weeks ahead, I will have a few stories. There are new stories that come out of every marathon adventure. Some of those stories preach better than others. Fargo taught me a thing or two, and, at the end of the day… State #18 is complete! Whitney, Paige, and I crossed the finish line. There is a little uncertainty about my official time, but they crossed at the 4 hour, 49 minute mark, and my “official” time was 5 hours, 20 minutes (BUT, I passed the 5:15 pace group, so not sure if that 5:20 is accurate). The time doesn’t really matter, though… the finish line does.

Bring on Georgia next! November 8th!!!

Let’s close out Round 5 of Ecclesiastes, by unpacking Chapter 12 today… look closer at verses 12-13…

“But beyond these, my son, be warned: there is no end to the making of many books, and much study wearies the body. When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is: fear God and keep His commands, because this is for all humanity.”
