A very Happy Easter, everyone! My very favorite section of scripture for the entire Holy Week calendar is Luke 24:5-7… “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” Indeed, why?

Our Easter Sunday sermon was taken from an earlier one from St. John Chrysostom who declared that all wrongs can be righted, that sinners can be saved, and so on; he also once declared that the best of words can be twisted when said in anger.
Unhealthy anger seldom ends well, yep!
I’ve geard it said that God doesn’t hide things FROM us, but rather FOR us.
That thinking holds true with Solomon’s writings. God doesn’t want us to just glance over the words, he wants us to dig for the gold!…Think on it when we read or hear something that maybe doesn’t quite agree with our mindset. Why is that? I feel like that is when the Holy Spirit is nudging us to investigate. Learning and growing takes intentional thought and effort but we also have to be open to what God is telling us. As you always say PK, God does his best work in the realm of IMpossible.
