I hope you had a great Tuesday! Track season has come to an end, and now I have three weeks of a “break” before summer cross country pre-season workouts begin.  AND, we are now just THREE days from Fargo!! I ran my last 30-minute distance early this morning. Thursday is a 25-minute jog, followed by a 20-minute jog on Friday morning… then… 26.2 miles in the “Liberty and Union Now and Forever, One and Inseparable” State. (THAT is a state motto that doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue.)

Hey let’s tackle Ecclesiastes, Chapter 7… and go deep with verses 4-6…

“The heart of the wise is in a house of mourning,
but the heart of fools is in a house of pleasure.
It is better to listen to rebuke from a wise person
than to listen to the song of fools,
for like the crackling of burning thorns under the pot,
so is the laughter of the fool.”

  1. 💯🎯 No one I know willingly signs on for difficulties in life! What I do know is that there is a litteral gold mine of wisdom and growth that you can take away from those situations if you’re willing to trust God to see you through them! The best part is God will give you the gift of being able to handle and navigate new challenges differently in the future. You just have to be willing to put in some work on stretching yourself to meet him where he knows you can operate better.
    Kind of a “No pain, no gain” situation.
