Here we are in the final stanza of Ecclesiastes. This is a book filled with all sorts of wisdom… in a tone that maybe you weren’t expecting. I think that’s what makes it so rich! It’s real-world tempo, feel, and attitude. It’s all around us, and it shows us that the learning climate does not have to be a perfect classroom setting to be helpful and extremely beneficial. I would even go so far as to say, the surprising tone captures the attention in a unique way that makes us pay attention closely. Any teacher who goes the route that Solomon has taken us on would probably not be a teacher for long, BUT it has really spoken to me, and I’m already looking forward to our next round!
