Welcome you to a brand new work week, AND double-digit Monday! Also, keeping in the spirit of … Is there a National Day for everything???  Happy National Pack Your Lunch Day! Every March 10th everyone across the country is encouraged to take their lunch to work, school, or wherever they’re spending the day. It’s an opportunity to revitalize lunchtime with fresh and healthful meal choices. For those of us who work from home, well, that’s kind of what we tend to do. If you work in a different capacity, though, pack a couple fried egg sandwiches and a minipack of Zingers (yes, that’s a combo I used to take in my lunch pail back in grade school), for something different. 

Let’s open up Mark, Chapter 7! Look closely at verses 18-19 “‘Do you still not understand? Surely you know that nothing that enters someone from the outside can make that person unclean. It does not go into the mind, but into the stomach. Then it goes out of the body.’ (When Jesus said this, he meant that no longer was any food unclean for people to eat.)”

I’m sure there are some questions around clean and unclean foods, beings this is mentioned quite a bit in this chapter. What is all the hubbub around food… (as we celebrate National Pack Your Lunch Day)? Well, let’s take this a bite at a time…
