Happy Sunday, all! And, a Happy National Pencil Day! Every March 30th we honor the writing utensil that has done more than just teach millions upon millions the alphabet and draw straight lines. As a writer, even though I type everything now, I have always loved the pencil. There’s something about the lead and eraser combo that feels just right. It’s a fun day to reflect back on the influence a pencil had on your classroom and life experiences. I think you may be surprised what comes to mind.

It’s a great day to go after Ecclesiastes, Chapter 11… Look at verse 4…

“Those who wait for perfect weather
will never plant seeds;
those who look at every cloud
will never harvest crops.”
