Thank you for understanding yesterday’s different kind of post. Just like it used to be on the Facebook venue, there will be times when I simply have to change things up. Thursday through half of the day today were over the top. While I am a high energy guy that seemingly has an endless supply of “What’s next!”… there are only so many hours in the day.

I have to admit- I did and always have seen it from the workers view and not the generosity of the land owner. Honestly I can’t shake it- having read this Parable before even.. knowing I shouldn’t look at it the way I do. I have been the worker that came in at 5 so often… shoot- the cross makes me the worker coming in at 5 every second of every day..
I even like to think I’m generous- but still can’t shake that human flaw of empathy for the guy in at 5am😐
Yes! I LOVE your honesty!! Now… grow into the follower of Jesus that “gets” the generosity part. You CAN shake your mindset. It just takes self-awareness. Remember… That parable starts with “the Kingdom of Heaven is like…,” which means God is that land owner. Focus on HIS heart for the “worker,” no matter what level the “worker” came in at. You CAN do that, Kev!

I looked at it that the vineyard owner kept his word . Even though no matter what time any of them started , he made an agreement with each of them. You can look at it as being unfair but they all agreed. I like the generosity part.
