It’s a Wednesday edition of KafePK! We are gathering here in the evening again. Let’s dig into Mark, Chapter 13… verse 14 is a good verse to talk about…

“But be ready to run for it when you see the monster of desecration set up where it should never be. You who can read, make sure you understand what I’m talking about.”

In the NIV translation… “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong…”

  1. Sort of in keeping with the themes of God’s will and omnipotence of this post there is a powerful hymn called “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise” that is an Angican/Episcopal staple. (My background). Both the sing version and lyrics can be found via your search engine as it is presented in a cathedral setting. I suggest a listen.
