Thirsty Thursday, friends! I have three fun facts about coffee to share:
Coffee is a fruit: The seeds we roast and grind are actually the seeds from the coffee plant’s berry-like fruit, called a coffee cherry.
Coffee was discovered by an Ethiopian goat herder: Legend has it that a goat herder noticed his goats acting strangely after eating the coffee plant’s berries.
Coffee was once banned: In the 16th century, coffee was banned in Mecca because it was believed to encourage radical thinking.
