Well, it was an exciting ending to the game, BUT, unfortunately, the 2-game losing streak for my Bradley Braves is now three. They lost 80-77. Over the years I’ve been to maybe 20 games, and, of all of them that was the first close one I was able to witness, tied at 77 with just over 6 seconds to go. Nothing beats college basketball, and I look forward to seeing another game sooner rather than later.

We have hit the 20-subscriber mark! That’s a great start! I’m starting to think of ways to market a little more assertively, because I’m imagining a life that doesn’t get the chance to encounter the words on these pages. I’ve heard it said that your life may be the only Bible someone reads. I believe that to be true, but I also want to do what I can to make the number a little smaller. I LOVE reading the Bible, and I want others to as well. As is always the case, and I’m glad you’re here, AND I’d love to see our subscriber count increase to 25 by the end of Super Bowl Sunday! I challenge you once again today… Who do you want to invite to join you?

Let’s take a trip through Mark, Chapter 6, shall we? … Take a closer look at verses 2-5… “‘Where did this man (Jesus) get these things?’ they asked. ‘What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?’ And they took offense at him.
