This is a Friday for the ages! Our oldest daughter, Whitney, got married this morning! It was a small affair at the Courthouse, exactly how she and Nathan wanted it to be. Those two are not into being in the spotlight at all, so it was a perfect fit. They have been dating a long time, so Nathan has already felt like family, but today they tied the knot and made it official. Very proud!
It was also my best man’s birthday… from our wedding. Kind of crazy how that all happened 36 years ago, and now, today, our daughter’s wedding on his special day. God is a God of the moment, and never misses a thing.
It’s time for Mark, Chapter 8… Take a closer look at verses 5-10…
“Jesus asked, ‘How much bread do you have?’
‘Seven loaves,’ the Disciples said.
So Jesus told the crowd (of well over 4,000) to sit down on the ground. After giving thanks, he took the seven bread loaves, broke them into pieces, and gave them to his disciples so they could hand them out to the crowd. They also had a few fish. He pronounced a blessing over the fish and told his disciples to hand them out as well.”
