Saturday, Feb. 15th! Did you know that March 20th is the first day of spring? If my math is correct… that’s 33 days away. I know we will have a bit of a cold spell next week and that other cold days are ahead, BUT, think about it this way… it’s been winter now for 56 days. Oh, and a very Happy Wisconsin Day to my friends in the Badger State. Since 2017, National Day Calendar® has set aside this day to celebrate Wisconsin. Rich in copper, lead, forest and fertile farmland, Wisconsin became the 30th state on May 29, 1848. In 1634, French explorer Jean Nicolet was the first European to reach the northern state while seeking a Northwest passage to China. Early in Wisconsin’s settlement, dairy production began to take root, and, by the turn of the century, the state became known for its dairy farms and synonymous with cheese. Grab some cheese curds and celebrate!

Let’s dive into Mark, Chapter 15… Verses 44-45 are going to challenge us today… trust me…
