Another long day in the heartland, which means that I’m posting another late-night edition. It all kind of evens out in the long run, but I appreciate everyone’s flexibility. I’m also grateful for the archive. Just a reminder that you can find any of my posts, dating back to January, You just have to dig a little bit.

I also want to challenge you all to try and invite a friend or two to join you on your journey. I haven’t talked about that in a while, and we need to keep asking and inviting. The more we have with us, the better the energy and the more Bible knowledge in our circles of influence.

Let’s roll into Mark, Chapter 3, and take a close look at verses 22-26…

“The scribes who had come down from Jerusalem said, ‘He has Beelzebul in Him!’ and, ‘He drives out demons by the ruler of the demons!’

So He summoned them and spoke to them in parables: ‘How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rebels against himself and is divided, he cannot stand but is finished!”

  1. I think the only topic in your list that has caused me grief is “women in leadership”. That’s a tough one.

  2. After we’ve made Major lifestyle changes in habits why would we want to reverse our ways and return, thus making ourselves divided against ourselves?

  3. I believe a lot of people think that if they adjust their opinion or view on something and give consideration to a thought, idea or concept, that is different to their own, they will ultimately be seen as condoning that very thing that they don’t like. We can tend to be more concerned about how we think other people will view/judge us. Instead we should be asking Holy Spirit to guide us to making steps forward. Steps that would result in peace, rather than constant conflict and maybe even benefit someone other than just ourselves.
